My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crosby can never catch a break. Where did Crosby spend his Thanksgiving? His Christmas? His Easter? In a cage at a County Kennel. That's a long time for a dog that's only 2 years old to be without a home. Friendship rescued Crosby hoping he would find a new home sooner here. We didn't want to see him spend another season in a cage without a family! Before adopting out Crosby he was selected to be trained at the Grafton Correctional Institution. He was not able to complete his training because of a torn ACL. He had successful surgery and his ACL was repaired. Now after recuperating this sweet boy is ready and waiting for his forever home. He's hoping to spend the remainder of the summer and the rest of his life with a new family. Even though he didn't complete his training Crosby has manners, is house trained and is just an all around wonderful dog that has stolen the hearts of everyone at Friendship...especially his rescuer, Director Greg Willey. Stop by for a visit. Crosby is sure to steal your heart too.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
