Hi there. My name is Abbott. I am about 10 months old and I weigh about 55 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area on a scorching hot, humid day and was picked up by the pound.
I was walking on the hot asphalt, so I have sore feet, some of which are blistered and I am missing the skin on one of them which is causing me some slight discomfort when I walk, but the pound is keeping ointment on it and it is healing up.
I am a very sweet, well behaved boy. I love cuddling and giving kisses. I have good manners when I am inside the office. I seem to know my basic commands too.
I am good with the other dogs. I am a playful boy with the other dogs but not completely overbearing. If they don't want to play, I am respectful and I will leave them alone.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
