Bear's Story...
Hi There! My name is Bear! My foster mom gave me that name as a sweet little joke because I was the littlest kitten of 8! She knew I would grow up to be big and strong. I can’t say I’m big and strong yet but I’m getting there. After all, I’m still a kitten! I was born to a feral mom in a colony in Philadelphia about April 23, 2014. The woman who was taking care of the colony called my foster mom to trap all the kittens when we were big enough. My foster mom took all 8 of us! I was very underweight and my foster mom syringe fed me for 2 weeks and now I am very healthy! I live with lots of other kittens and 2 big dogs and I love everyone!

You couldn’t ask for a happier or more affectionate kitten than me! I can’t wait to sit in my foster mom’s lap or have her hold me. Those are the best times of the day for me! I show how happy I am by purring like you can’t believe! I love to nuzzle her face and ears and she says I tickle her when I do that! I practically squirm in her arms I’m so happy to be held and loved.

I am a very active little kitten and I love to play! I love any kind of toy. I’m not picky! I will play with the other kittens as we run up and down halls like elephants!

Bear is neutered, litterbox trained, has received age-appropriate vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
