My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ZANE is a 6 month old black neutered male Lab who weighs 35 pounds (but still growing)!! He was a bit shy at firm, but now he follows his foster Mom around, wagging his tail, even sneaking up for kisses and love. Warms the heart to see how resilient (and grateful) these little guys can be! Zane is a good rider who's housebroken and crate trained. He is not great on leash yet, but he is learning quickly! He loves to play with the other dogs at the foster and was sweet to the vet kitties. He's approved for kids aged 8+. Better pics soon!

Update (7/26): Zane is really opening up and learning to have fun. He LOVES playing with the other dogs at his foster. He is very good in his crate and actually loves to go in it with his toys. He is housebroken and is learning about leash walking. He is a really great puppy!

**Puppy-Approved Adopters Only**
"Puppy-Approved" means that the adopter is approved but also has an appropriate lifestyle for a puppy. Puppies require more time, attention and training. Many humans are wise enough to know their limits but puppies are sooooo cute that people sometimes lose their good sense. We will only adopt puppies under 6 months of age to homes where someone is not gone more than four hours a day. Puppies need the socialization and training that only time with their humans can provide.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
