DAVID AND GOLIATH's Story...
These 2 littermates were rescued from a rural animal control facility as little puppies. They were adopted together last fall into a great home. Unfortunately, circumstances unrelated to the dogs have come up and they are in search of a new home. Goliath, the black beauty, takes the lead role and will let you know if something is happening. David is the lover boy, loves to cuddle. They are housetrained and great on leash. They love to take walks. They are right at 1 year old and very attached to each other, having been together all their lives. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DAVID AND GOLIATH, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
