Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Possible home for this one. Will know soon and mark a pending home if adopted.
To start the adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our site and personality details below about each dog.
Dogs listed on Petfinder are still available for adoption and will stay listed until we find them the right homes with our adoption paperwork all finished. Thanks.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on the form. You can also view our adoption contract sample there as well and read about our adoption process like site visits and paperwork needed to adopt.
There is an adoption fee of $100 for this dog. No phone calls or emails please. Please see our web site for details.
This is Hank, a Dachshund/Beagle cross pup about a year old, is very charming and happy here. We are guessing on his cross. He will not be a large dog so about 15 pounds when done so think tweenie sized Dachshund with longer legs.
Hank was very unhappy at the local shelter so we puled him to work on some of his puppy manners and place him from here. He was getting nippy at the shelter but he is beyond sweet and happy here with no nipping at all. He just wanted to see some sunshine and a yard more if my guess.
Hank is a very happy puppy so no reason to be put down at a shelter for being too stressed. He will need a fenced yard and a play buddy about his age.
I am still testing him with cats and housebreaking and as I know more I will be posting here. So far he is asking to go outside.
I have no idea why he ended up at a shelter but we just make sure ones like him especially younger pups get the training they need and if not adopted in a couple of months we donate these mixes back to the shelter to adopt so we make sure they do find a new home.
