Clara, calm & sweet family's Story...
Meet adorable and super sweet Clara! This 2 year old lab mix weighs about 45lbs and is so very affectionate you can't help but love her! Clara was rescued from a high kill shelter in the north Georgia Mountains several months ago then waited in boarding for her rescuer to find her forever home....which didn’t happen due to an illness in her rescuer's family. So the RAIN girls stepped in and helping to find that great home for Clara by transporting her to Washington state August 6th. Clara is a bit on the shy side with new dogs but warms up quickly. She loves people and everyone she's ever met! Due to her shyness, she is in a training program with Josh Donahue at Argos Dogworks and is working on her confidence! We thought she was perfect before, but she really will be when she graduates in two weeks! Clara loves to play with other dogs and great with kids too. She’ll love running errands with you, visits to the pet store and visiting the neighbors. She enjoy pets and strokes from all and be right next to you. She is great on the leash and knows her basic commands. She is a dream to walk and you will love cuddling with this one! Due to her shyness, Clara will want calm easygoing adopters, but who are firm enough to keep her up on her training. And once completed at Argos, then it will be easy for you! Clara is good with kids, no "mouthiness", not hyper and doesn't jump up. She will love daily walks, runs or a weekly hike! She enjoys the water and has a good coat for Washington weather! Clara is in foster care with farm animals, cats and horses with no issues. She rides great in the car, is crate trained and house trained. In training she will get very good on the leash, learn a few more basic commands, get comfortable with the treadmill (!) and be more playful with other dogs. Clara will be flying to Washington on August 2nd and ready to meet from the airport. Get your application in (www.raincityrescue.com) for this sweet and mellow yellow girl and you will not be disappointed! Email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail with questions. Clara's adoption fee is $400. She's the sweetest girl who deserves a terrific life out of the south!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clara, calm & sweet family, a Snohomish Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Snohomish, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Snohomish.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snohomish already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snohomish breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snohomish paves the way for another one to be saved.
