Sasha's Story...
Sasha is a beautiful 6-7 lbs 4 year old female cat that is in need of a new home. She is a domestic short hair tuxedo. Her mother, an elderly woman who loves her dearly and adopted her when she was 3 months old, developed a severe allergy to cats and can no longer keep her. Devastated, she reached out to our rescue for help. We are unsure about how she is with other dogs. However, we do know that she is PLAYFUL with other cats and children. Her family describes her as quiet, gentle, shy, and sometimes mischievous. However, what cat isnÂÂ’t?! Sasha LOVES playing hide and seek. She likes to hide for a while and then pop up out of nowhere. Who knows, she might be part ninja! Loving and loyal, she will be your best friend. She would love to have a playmate or a human that can shower her with love and attention. Sasha is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She is completely healthy! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
