My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sirus is a loving German shepherd mix boy. With the body and look of a German shepherd and the cutest short legs, Sirius is a uniquely perfect sized pup! He loves the company of dogs and cats! HeÂÂ’s developed a solid profession around being a love bug, especially with his human! Now, this boy is more of a ladiesÂÂ’ man. However, with the proper time and patience, he can develop an equal love for males too. Sirius is a unique boy, who loves to be groomed. ThatÂÂ’s right! Sirius absolutely adores being brushed! Literally, this boy smiles when you brush him! Eager to please, Sirius is happy to learn. This awesome boy is crate and potty trained and walks well on the leash. Although, he does prefer playing in the yard or grassy area over being near the street. Basking in the glory of affection, Sirius loves to be the center of attention. He would benefit from some more basic socialization training as he does take some time to warm up to strangers entering his home. However, when he travels or meets new people, he is happy to generously give kisses! We pulled Sirus baby's mother, Star, form a shelter right before she was supposed to be put to sleep. We, including the vet, thought she had puppies recently and they were stripped from her too early. Little did we know that she was PREGNANT! Her foster mom woke up on the morning of July 7, 2013 and found Star in labor!
