My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It seems that my name has gotten a bad rap through the ages, and I am here to restore honor to my title. Sure, a long time ago a women sold out her man for money, ultimately weakening him and facilitating his demise. But does that mean that the rest of us Delilahs have to walk around with a name meaning “she who weakened?” Not on my watch! I am here to empower and support! I want to spread the love that’s cooped up in my heart to your family and everyone I meet! I will be a beacon of acceptance and joy for all! Except cats. I can’t stand their smarmy little faces. But a beacon for everyone else, I say! Respectful kids of all ages! Dogs of all kinds! Everyone will feel my golden light of love shining upon them. I spend my nights in my crate thinking about how wonderful it is going to be once I get my opportunity to shine. I like having my quiet crate time; it gives a girl the ability to reflect upon the day, which I think is important. Will you help me in my cause to right the wrong done to my name? Then you can say “I was there when the Delilahs of the world were vindicated!” 2 years old-47lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes: spay, microchip, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
