My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cassanova, or Cassie, is one very very very special boy. His is a black male with large round green eyes. He is so sweet, so much fun, it is a joy to watch him get so excited about life. This guy was living with Mandy, one other kitty and a big barking dog. Cassanova is declawed on all 4 feet and that makes a kitty very vunerable and unsure. So he basically lived in an upstairs bedroom. His elderly mom and dad got sick about the same time, so they lived by themselves for weeks in the house with the dog while the neighbors came by to feed/water/clean up. By the time he got into rescue he was pretty well terrified. It took him about 4 weeks to get up enough nerve to venture out of the room he was in and into the living room. He took one look at the TV and ra back to the room, but a bit later he came back out and jumped into his foster mom's lap, jumping up and down with excitment, it was the proudest moment of his life that he got up enough nerve to leave the safety of a room and see what was on the other side. He runs and plays with the other cats, he jumps into his foster moms lap and gives her kisses, he gives head bumps, he follows her around the house like a little dog. He is so gentle, and so so happy. He loves the other cats and he loves his human. He will do best in a home with NO DOGS and NO YOUNG CHILDREN.
