My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our Weims just keep getting better, this sweet girl is GINGER a gorgeous Weimaraner Lab Mix. Ginger is a slight girl weighs in at 40lb, she is 2yrs old, she has beautiful features. Unique in color Ginger is a gorgeous chestnut shade.
She is blessed with stunning good looks, gorgeous white teeth, and beautiful sea green eyes that just melt your heart.
GINGERS`S story starts here >>>Ginger came to us from Mississippi, she was turned into a Mississippi kill shelter by her owner.Ginger became urgent and was put on the to be Euthanized list.
We pulled Ginger to safety and placed her with a Mississippi foster while we arranged transport from Mississippi to us in Central Florida. Ginger has been through evaluation and are pleased with the outcome. After her initial transition Ginger has settled in well. Ginger is a shy girl but will warm to you she enjoys playing with the other younger dogs she loves to run and play, On the flip side she is happy to snuggle up next to her humans, she is a loving gir and like all weimies she loves attention. She is a calm girl sometimes a little timid when out of her comfort zone. We brought Ginger into Lifeline so we could find the perfect family for her and we are now searching for that wonderful forever home. A home that will give her stability and security and life she needs. Ginger is so lovable she deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she deserves. Like most Weimaraners she loves to be around humans and will follow you around, she is a Velcro girl. she likes to go for walks and she just loves the beach and nature trails where she can run free, she knows commands sit stay & down, Like most Weimaraners she likes car rides and she is excellent in the car she just sits quietly. Ginger is not crate trained she has never been in a crate while she has been with us A crate would be alien to her and more than likely bring on stress. We would prefer an adopter that would not crate her. At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she just loves to sleep on your bed she loves to be close to her humans and loves to cuddle a typical Weimy girl. During the day she loves to sit on the sofa so if you don't like a dog on your sofa this girl is NOT for you.
Ginger is housebroken, she will go to the door when she needs to go out to potty. she is good at bath times but not crazy about the shower. Its so hard not to fall in love with this girl And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her.
Ginger is spayed, current on all vaccinations Heart worm negative , micro.chipped and is up to date on monthly preventative. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Ginger a wonderful forever home where he can have stability love and security in her life.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities. Ginger will blossom with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Ginger like most Weims she dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end.
A home with a fenced in yard, screened in pool lanai or acreage where she can run and play is ESSENTIAL. Ginger would like another dog to play with with a young male would be perfect. She would be fine as an only dog with lots of love and interaction. Ginger can be shy at first and appear a little timid around some people, sometimes she will hide out of the way. We have no idea what went on in her previous home and can only evaluate that she didn't have the best of life. Ginger quickly perks up when she has a young male companion. If you think that you have what it takes for this awesome little Weim/Lab girl and can open your your heart and home, to make Gingers`s life complete you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
