Ginger's Story...
Hi! My name is Ginger! I'm a short and stout girl- a tiny beagle! I'm super cute. I look like I'm always smiling. I'm a happy and sweet girl who loves affection. The couch is probably my favorite spot. I'd make the perfect tv or laptop companion. I get along with all dogs and kitties too. I'm good in the car if you'd like to take me out, but I'd most likely prefer to nap on the couch til you come back home to pamper to me. I'd make an adorable and easy addition to any family.

If you are interested in adopting me, please visit www.seniordoghaven.org and find the adoption application under the Adoption Process tab, or you can also email info@seniordoghaven.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Wilmington Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
