My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Millie is a very sweet 6 month old poodle mix weighing about 12 lbs. When she came to the shelter her coat was a matted mess and she was covered in fleas. It was probably causing her a lot of discomfort and pain, but you would never know by her leaps and tail wagging when one of our foster volunteers walked by her kennel. Yes, it was Millie’s lucky day. Our rescue group took Millie from the shelter, got her the grooming that she so desperately needed and put her in a loving foster home. Because the matting was so bad, she had to be closely shaved on much of her body. She feels so much better now. When her fur grows in a little more, she is going to be one gorgeous, happy girl.

Millie has a very bubbly personality. She loves everyone she meets and has done well with dogs of all sizes. She’s very playful, but settles down nicely.

She will need regular brushing and professional grooming/clipping every 2-4 months.
