Hermes's Story...
White/Orange Tabby
DOB: 4/1/14

Mr. Hermes came to Living Free along with his brothers and sisters as tiny kittens. Now almost four months old, Hermes has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets. He is very jovial and is always in a playful mood, making friends with all the other cats. He has easily become one of the many popular kittens here at Living Free. His adopter should be used to a very active and social young cat. Hermes would enjoy playing with o other cats, kids and perhaps a small dog that is respectful of cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hermes, a Mountain Center Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
