My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luke is a sweet, sweet, playful and extremely handsome chocolate boy. He is a year old and weighs about 55 to 60 pounds. Luke was found in a horrible rural shelter and he sure did not belong there. Luckily he is now in a great foster home and getting the care he deserves. He is a medium energy boy who loves going for walks in the woods, but settles down nicely when he gets home. Luke enjoys playing fetch and will amuse himself by throwing his squeaky toys around the room. Going on car rides is another favorite pastime of Luke’s and he often runs right to the car when he goes outside. Luke is in a foster home with 3 other dogs and enjoys playing with his foster siblings. He loves to snuggle on the couch and enjoys being with his humans. Luke walks well on a leash and is working on basic commands. He is crate trained and house trained. Luke would benefit from additional training to develop some manners and work on his recall. He is still a pup at heart and needs someone who is willing to spend some time with him to help him gain confidence. Luke is a special boy and will make a great companion. He has been neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped.
