Hi there new friends and potential new family members! My name is Bonnie! I am about 1 year old and I weigh about 45 lbs.
I was found by a family in the Kensington area. They took me in for a few days. They tried to find my owner but they didn't have any luck.
While I was there, they were able to find out a few things so the pound could know a little bit more about me.
They said that I am housebroken, I love kids, I get along great with other dogs and I got along just fine with their cats. They did say that I would do best in a family without goats as I tend to think it is pretty fun to chase them around. The family wasn't able to keep me, so after unsuccessfully searching for my owners, they brought me here to the pound so I can find a new home.
I am a wonderful girl here at the pound. I have already won the hearts of the volunteer dog walkers as well as the deputies here at the pound. I have also made friends with Maddie Ann, a dog that sometimes comes to work with her mom.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JULY 29, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
