My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Norman - 2 year old male Miniature Schnauzer mix. Norman was rescued from an LA county shelter where he came in as a stray on 4th of July (no doubt scared from fireworks). He was at the shelter almost a month.. we spotted him while rescuing another dog then went to rescue him and they discovered he had a microchip so he had to wait another week while the shelter tried unsuccessfully to contact his owner. Norman is just the cutest little thing.. he reminds us of what you might get if you would mix a schnauzer and basset hound except he's on the smaller side. In fact he looks a bit like a Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen. He has very "houndy" ears and a low to the ground "thick" body. Norman is about as good natured as they come, he loves everyone and is wonderful with other dogs. Norman weighs approximately 17 pounds.


Our adoptions are restricted to residences of the greater Los Angeles, CA area. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions.
