My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BECKERMAN is a 5 year old black neutered male Lab who weighs 73 pounds (could gain a few). He's a sweet dog who did well meeting the dogs at the shelter. Beckerman rode well in the car and doesn't pull too much on lead. He's approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (8/03): Beckerman has gentleman like manners with the resident female Lab's. He's shy at first, but warms up quickly. All he really wants is for you to rub his face and tell him he's a good boy. He is house trained and sleeps soundly in the crate. He weighs 67lbs but still needs to gain a few pounds but this boy is GORGEOUS. He likes to fetch, but he's not ball obsessed. After a few throws he's happy to lay at your feet. He just loves rolling on his back and offering his belly for rubs, he adores having his face rubbed too! He is housetrained and hasn't had any accidents. He doesn't jump up for attention, has great manners and takes treats gently. He doesn't know any formal commands but seems to be a quick learner and is well under way to learning sit!
