My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hargis-Dachshund, Male, 3 yr. (July 2013)

Hargis was found in a high kill rural shelter, having been left there
with 4 other dogs...all from the same place. The people had became
overwhelmed with their dogs and sent some of them to the Shelter.
We don't know how they could decide to do that but all the dogs
were kind and social. Little Hargis is in a foster home now and ready
to find his new family. They say he's about 3 yr. old, and weighs about
10#. His adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting
ready for adoption.
