Meet Goliath NO!!, Axel NOT!!, Apollo NOPE!! Meet Henry, Henry the Rottweiler. Actually Henry is an approx. 3 year old Rottweiler mix who is a big marshmallow. He currently weighs about 70 pounds but due to his age, he should not get any larger. Henry is very friendly but strong, he will jump to give kisses so some leash training and even basic training will be of benefit. He will steer clear of any trouble going on so a gentle home with another gentle dog would be best for Henry. Henry is new to Rover Rescue so I'll update more information about him as I know him better but because of Henry's size and strength children over 8 would be best for him. UPDATE; After having Henry a short time now I have found him to be a very friendly and loving dog. He's housetrained and not destructive. He just wants to be near his people. Because of Henry's size some dogs are intimidated by him, a couple of the little dogs here starting trouble and he ran from them so I feel Henry would be best as the only dog in the house so he doesn't have to be bullied by other dogs. Henry thinks he's a lab dog and will try to climb in my lab so he’ll make a great snuggling partner when it gets cold, he's like a big teddy bear. Henry also loves to ride in the car, he'll just sit in the passenger seat and watch out the window, so if you’re looking for a passenger to go out with you, Henry loves to ride along. Henry has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $200.00 which also includes a microchip with registration.
