Tess's Story...
This beautiful girl is Tess. She had such a rough past, when she came into animal control she was so emaciated and scared of every moving thing. After a month in foster care she has gained so much weight and finally she has come out of her shell. She is such a love bug, she loves to cuddle with you on the couch but is also perfectly content sleeping on the floor or on the dog bed. She doesn't jump!! Which is one of my favorite things about her. She doesn't chew anything as long as she has a toy to play with. She is house trained and she is great with other dogs. And best of all, she will smother you in kisses if you allow her to. She is so ready for her forever home, if you are interested in this beautiful girl please contact. She does not deserve to be on death row and she has come so far!! The second picture is a before and after picture, the picture on top features her a couple months ago when she first came in to animal control, and the bottom picture is now!! What a transformation!

Act quickly to adopt Tess. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tess, a Hearne Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Hearne, or seeking a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Hearne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hearne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hearne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hearne paves the way for another one to be saved.
