AVAILABLE 07-21-14 Donte' and Chloe (May) were brought to the Shelter, because their family was moving out of state. Chloe, (we added the May, because we have another Chloe in the Shelter), is a Lab?Chow?Corgi Mix. She's four years old and had been a family pet all of her life. She was just spayed this year. Chloe is a little shy when you first meet her, but warms up once she knows you aren't going to hurt her. Donte' is Chloe's son (not much resemblance - huh?) He's an 18 month old who is super friendly. In fact, he's the one who let's his mom know that a person is not going to hurt them. Both are dog and kid friendly (even a one year old) and are okay with cats as long as the cat is okay with them (calm, not running). Donte' and Chloe are even housetrained. They both tested negative for heart worms and their shots are now up to date. These two are not only mother/son, but are also best friends. They do well on leash walks and can be walked together. It would be great if they could stay together, but either would be happy for the other if he/she found a new loving family. However, if you have room in your heart and home, you can adopt both Chloe and Donte' for one adoption fee. So PLEASE come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City and meet this pair - take them for a walk - fall in love...
