Zachary's Story...
Handsome Zachary is a pointer/beagle mix who is an extremely very nice boy who really wants to be a lap dog. This 22 lb, 4 year old guy is very personable and affectionate, you can't help but love him! He has high energy so he needs to be walked a lot or have a backyard to play in. He is super friendly and enjoys meeting people and other dogs when out on a walk. He pulls on the leash a bit so a little more training will correct that. Zachary is housebroken and ready to make a faithful companion for some lucky person or family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zachary, a Encino Pointer/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Beagle for sale in Encino, or seeking a Pointer/Beagle dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Beagle breeders who help with Pointer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
