Madeline is a female Poodle/Maltese mix only 1 year in age. She is a nice size, weighing in at 12 pounds currently. Her ideal weight is about 15-16 pounds. Madeline has a very nice quality, soft, curly white coat that is non-shedding. She came to our rescue severely neglected with a badly matted haircoat. We had her professionally groomed, but most of her coat had to be shaved off including all of the long hair on her ears. When her fur grows back, it will be long, glorious soft waves and curls. Madeline is a sweet, sensitive, tender-hearted young girl. She has been mistreated in the past and so is very submissive and shy around strangers. Once she knows you, however, she is truly lovely, animated, and eager to please. Madeline is going to make a loyal, devoted, grateful pet. She wants to bond with a person she can depend on and loves little treats and lots of petting and stroking. Her favorite trick is to roll onto her back for a gentle belly rub. Madeline is quiet and well behaved inside the home. She is young and will get cutely playful if you bring out the toys and act silly with her. She is very good with other dogs, but is a little intimidated by rowdy play and will sit off to the side watching. Madeline rides nicely in the car without a peep and will curl up on the seat next to you, gazing at you adoringly while you go about your business. This sweet dog has a ton of potential and has not been appreciated at all in her young life. She is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!
Madeline’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Madeline is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Nancy and is ready for her forever home.
