*****ALERT**** Please give me a chance!! Hi they call me Shelly here at the shelter, because I'm a tortoiseSHELL color (clever, huh?). And, since I'm a pretty smart kitten, I would suggest you hurry on down here & adopt me into a really loving, fun home. I'm also a really loving, fun kitten. I was fostered for a bit, and I got along with her other cats and dogs and had fun there. I'm a bit shy and sometimes I get scared if you move too fast, but, once you pick me up, talk nicely to me I'll purr for you once I get used to you. I'll jump right up in your lap let you hug me. And, since I'm such a smarty kitty, you can probably teach me cute human tricks in exchange for good kitty treats! I have been here for months! All the othere kittens went and I was left behhind. Please help me. I will go crazy in this cage!
