Oscar's Story...
(was Chico) is an 8-months-old brindle Bull Terrier. He was turned into the shelter because he needed surgery on his tail and owner did not want to spend money on vet care. We had his tail amputated and he is completely recovered.

Oscar is very handsome. He is short and stocky, weighing 35 lbs. He is very sweet and loving. He is playful, he like to chase ball and play in water. He is good around other dogs and cats. Great with kids.

Oscar is neutered, current on vaccinations, on HW prev. and he is also microchipped. If interested in giving Oscar a new loving home, please fill out the adoption application on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Austin Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
