Here's what the humans have to say about me:
To our surprise Barney Boy who is a 6 lb, 7 or 8 yr old Yorkshire Terrier was found languishing in a high kill city shelter. He might have been overlooked as he was pitiful looking. He was so dirty, matted and smelly. Like many Yorkies, Barney Boy is quite fearless and keeps us amused with his charm and fun personality. His foster mom loves that he is not a yapper, (except when she is too slow getting his meal to him he lets out a big dog bark!) Barney Boy is housebroken and gets along w/ every cat, dog & person that he has met. Barney Boy is up to date on all shots, microchipped. neutered and has even had dental work done. He has a bit of missing fur on his back from flea allergies. He was full of fleas so with a healthy diet, he will be looking beautiful in no time!
He's a bit shy around new people but warms up quickly. He was rescued from a high kill shelter and had been there for 2 months.
If you are interested in Barney, please complete the on-line application as he does not always attend the weekly PETCO adoption event on Saturdays. The E-Mail address is: www.adoptmerescue@gmail.com
