Rumple's Story...
Name: Rumple
Color: Brown and White
Breed: Short Coat Chihuahua
Gender: Male
Age: 1 Year 6 Months
This extra-special little guy is Rumple and he is looking for a loving forever home with someone just as special, who hopefully will adopt his friend TJ as well!
Big fan of: Affection! Rumple loves people and is quick to warm up to his new friends. He enjoys being pet and absolutely loves his adoptive brother TJ.
Special Features: Rumple came to us with a tendency to hold his head to the left side and our vet thinks it is a condition that will persist throughout his life. It doesn't bother him at all; he was most likely born this way.
Dream Home: Rumple would love to go home with his bff TJ the mini poodle. Given his delicate nature he would do best in a household with children 13 years or older who will know just how gentle they need to be with him. He is gentle and sweet enough that a mellow cat would probably be just fine by him. Other dogs would also be okay with Rumple, so long as they are small and won't hurt him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rumple, a Bellingham Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
