Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a 7 month old chocolate lab/pitbull mix. He is very loving and gets along well with other dogs. He is house & crate trained. When he first came to his foster home, he knew nothing. In his short time there, he has learned to go to the door to let them know he needs to go potty, he has learned sit and lay down and has also learned to not jump (although because he is still young, he does when he gets excited occasionally!). He is a very smart boy who loves to get attention. He loves to snuggle up on your lap and give lots of kisses! He is good with kids and loves going for walks! Help us find Rocky his furever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Clarkston Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Clarkston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Clarkston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarkston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarkston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarkston paves the way for another one to be saved.
