Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shakira aka Keira is a voluptuous beauty with a personality to match and Amber eyes that will melt your heart! When The Ark of San Juan knew this special girls' time was up at the County Shelter we immediately made plans to rescue her, clearly she had previously had a litter of pups & her coat was dull & shedding heavily due to the stress of being abandoned and alone in the Shelter environment. Once we had her in our care & she was safe, secure & receiving regular nutrition Shakira blossomed very soon into the amazing dog she is today.
She is a strong but extremely gentle 2 year old, who is very relaxed and well behaved in the company of other dogs of all sizes and she loves to play. Keira walks well on a leash and is good mannered to the dog companions she meets along the way. Our lovable girl enjoys belly rubs and affection but is also crate trained and attentive to commands, she certainly knows her manners and is extremely well behaved.
All in all Keira is a very calm, well balanced girl that would be perfect in a family with kids and/or other dogs, she has been around both with nothing but positive outcome. Keira is house trained, up to date on her shots, dewormed, spayed & chipped. If you love the way she looks you will love her even more when you meet her, great dog all round, with the best demeanor and personality!
