My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Tux. I am 2 years old and all boy! I love to run, jump, and play with my chew toys and then, once I'm all played out, I just want to sit by your feet and take a nap.
I get along well with all the dogs at my foster home, but I sometimes grumble at other dogs when we are out walking. My foster mom says I am working on not being so protective and have gotten much better.

I have a cat in my foster home, but we don't get along so great and I'd like to leave her here when you take me home, please.

I play with the older kids here, but my exuberance might be a bit much if you have young children. Sometimes I don't realize my own strength. I'm very smart and know sit, lay down, and shake, but I use my selective hearing when she says "stay".

If you're shopping for my new toys, my favorite things are Kong toys filled with peanut butter or treats, rope tugs, and anything that squeaks. Maybe a new leash for taking me on long walks. ..

I need my new human to be a strong pack leader. As long as I know who the boss is (and it isn't ME), I do really well.
