My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Atlas is a 2 year old Dobie/hound mix. He is about 45 lbs with black and brindle coloration on his chest and legs. He is a very sweet loving dog who is eager to please his humans but he displays dog aggression towards certain dogs (particularly medium to large dogs). He walks well on the leash, can sit for a treat and loves to snuggle with his human at bedtime! Atlas wants his forever home with an experienced dog handler who understands how to work with dominant dogs. A home with no other pets or small children is recommended.

All of our dogs have been spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, had rabies, bordetella and distemper/lepto/parvo vaccines as well as been de-wormed and had flea medication applied. They come with a free vet check at Mt. Tabor Vet Care. We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We don't adopt our small dogs out to families with children under 6 years of age. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application and check references. Pound to Posh is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters.
