My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster is a 6-7 year old standard long haired beautiful Brown Dapple Dachshund who weighs approximately 17 lbs. He's a sweet, sweet boy who absolutely loves being around his people! Buster gets along with other older dogs his size, and even seems to get along with cats. He enjoys his walks outside, or running free in a fenced in yard, but his favorite place is on the coach next to his human. He keeps himself amused chewing on his bones and stuffed animals, he's very playful and loves to be loved up! He will even wave to you he wants something!

Because Buster loves his people so much, he would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time. When left alone for hours on end, Buster becomes anxious and does suffer with some separation anxiety. A retiree, a stay at home/work at home person or family would be what's best for this sweet guy!

Pretty much house broken when on a routine, he hasn't quite learned to let you know when he needs to go out to potty. Accidents can happen, but when on a routine Buster is fine!

He is UTD on all shots, is neutered, and will be microchipped before he leaves for his forever home.

Please Email Rescue at: info@ocbarkers.com and ask for an application for adoption to welcome Buster into your home!
