MAX's Story...
Max is a very sweet little boy, who could stand a trip to the groomer, he will be adorable! Max is 5 years old, weighs 17 lbs., his ID is 568157, he is in cage 315 in the Puppy Room. He was turned into the shelter on 7/31/14 and they said he is house trained. He doesn't like to be pulled and tugged on, so he needs to go to a home without children. Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAX, a Marietta Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
