Jerry-Adopted!'s Story...
Jerry is a boxer/shepherd mix. He loves our adult dogs and cats, and our kids. His favorite pasttime is eating (he has figured out if he just lays in the food bowl he can get more than his brother!), and he loves to wrestle and roll around with his brother. He is a little more brown than black.
He is almost perfect at crate training, and doing very well at house training. He is such a snuggle bear, and loves to fall asleep in any arms that will hold him. Such a sweet boy! Birthdate 6/18/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
