"Howdy, friends! My name is SPARKY, and I'm a happy, charming fellow who will brighten your day. I'm a spaniel mix, and I'm about one year old. I'm playful and active, and I love to play fetch, so I'd need to have a yard in my new home. I'd do best in an adult home where my owner is a patient and firm pack leader. It helps me to relax when I know that I don't have to be in charge of everything. I'd also do best as the only dog in my new home. You'll be pleased to know that I've already been house trained, plus I know how to sit on command. I'm a smart boy, so I'm ready to learn whatever you'd like to teach me. I sure hope you'll come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. They have a great play yard here where we can get to know each other better. I think you'll find that I'm loads of fun and that my zest for life is contagious.
