Major's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Major's Story...
Major is an enthusiastic, happy, bundle of energy. He loves playing chase and wrestling with his foster brother, Buddy, and keeps a respectful distance from his foster sister, Pepper, an older Black Lab who tolerates him fairly well. Major loves eating, playing fetch, chewing on his rope toys, sticks, and bones, and has learned to walk on a leash. He plays well with others at the local doggie daycare, and gets along with cats. He loves being outside, and while he hasn’t spent much time inside the house, he seems to get the indoor/outdoor drill at daycare. He’s very affectionate, and loves tummy rubs. Left on the side of a country road, Major appears to have received no training, but is a quick study and wants to please. Please, you MUSTpaste following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Major, a Rochester Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
