Snap (Mario)'s Story...
Hello, World! I'm not even 2 yet, and loving discovering things - like toys, and COOKIES. i'm gentle for my size and age. I got off the track end of July, and already went to an adoption event, and did really well meeting and greeting everyone. I walk on a leash nicely, too. It's too soon for my foster family to know much more but they say I sure seem like a winner! My name is Snap because I'm full of ginger - i'm just a puppy and have lots of energy, and don't yet know what is MY stuff and what might not be OK to romp with and jump on. I'll need lots of exercise and some supervision for awhile! I'm good with other dogs (but not cats), and great with kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snap (Mario), a Cottonwood Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Cottonwood, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Cottonwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottonwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottonwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottonwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
