Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leala is why many of us are devoted to animal rescue. Our volunteer saw a tiny cat, no more than a kitten, nursing three infants who were less than a week old. The entire family was scheduled for euthanasia. Nursing her babies in a cardboard box, Leala weighed less than six pounds and had very little to give them....but she was trying. FOR placed her family in a foster home and Leala ran out of milk within days. She AND her kittens received supplement feeding -- bottle feeding and lots of warm milk replacer. Leala began to gain weight, produce milk, and she tried her best to take care of her litter. Her devotion was amazing and we love her dearly. Her kittens are now weaned and Leala needs a home. She's still tiny, about 6 pounds, and needs someone devoted to her. She deserves it. To meet her, please email info@fORrescue.net. Leala is in Huntsville, AL.
