Meet little Tucson at only 8lbs he found himself at a pound in Laval no doubt little man was very nervous there. He was quickly adopted directly from the pound but sadly in one week he was returned due so his barking while they were away from the home – that was when we met Tucson and stepped in to bring him into foster care. Volunteer drove straight out to get and in a couple of hours he was safe with us.
Tucson is a super sweetie!!! He is friendly with all doggies both big and small. He does very much like to play with the kitties but also knows when to back off and leave them alone. A typical yorkie he wants to burrow under the covers and snuggle in bed with you… so be prepared to never have a lonely cuddlefree night again!
So far in foster home he does show anxiety, he must have been carried around a lot because he is displaying typical small dog “carry me” syndrome! Foster family is set in their rules and are not carrying him around but teaching him to be a doggie like all others. He is adjusting but will whine and cry at first when he does not get his way!
Tucson is definitely a lap dog! On your lap is where he wants to be no matter what you are doing. Loving his humans is all he wants to do 24/7. He loves to be pet and loves attention
Tucson in foster care is a very quick learner; he is picking up so fast on all the rules in the home and is adjusting so very well.
He is a sweet and adorable little man who just needs love to be happy.
The ideal family for Tucson should have a home so that when left alone if he does bark he won’t disturb anyone and somehow who is home often or has the ability to take him to work or wherever they have to go as Tucson is friendly and well behaved – he travels well in the car with no issues
