Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ROSCOE is a 2 year old yellow neutered male Lab who weighs 41 pounds. He's a happy pup who loves to be near you and to get petted. He'll chase after toys but doesn’t pick them up or bring them back. We don’t think he has had any of his own before. If you raise your hand suddenly he will shy’s away but it’s not bad and only when he catches it out of the corner of his eye. He's good with other dogs and is keeping his run clean at the kennel. Roscoe comes from the country and would not do well in a city environment or an apartment/condo/townhouse. He's approved for kids aged 10+.
Update (9/06): Roscoe is a total cuddle bug and wants to be loved on and petted by his humans as much as possible. He is very social and wants to meet every person he comes across. He is house trained and rode well in the car. Roscoe is on the lower energy side, especially for such a young pup. He likes walks and will romp around a bit, but is mostly calm. He has enjoyed getting pets while watching TV with foster mom and dad, and warmed up to them very quickly and easily when he came into the house. Roscoe is still a little unsure of his surroundings, but with patience and encouragement he is starting to explore.
Update (8/05): Roscoe went to the vet for his microchip and boosters today, vet thinks he is about 3 years old vice 2. He made several friends with his grin and wagging tail while we were waiting. Roscoe likes to go for rides he thinks he should ride shotgun but does well in the back just looks around and see what happening outside. He has been out playing with Mocha Joe and Poptart the other LR dogs at the kennel. When you toss a toy they all run for it but Poptart normally comes back with it first as he is the youngest and fastest..
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.
