Merlin's Story...
Hiya. The name's Merlin! Did you know that Merlin is a legendary wizard in the King Arthur story? Well, I must be named after him because I intend to be a bit legendary myself. I'm well on my way with my looks, charm and personality!

I am a young sprite with energy to spare and I love to PLAY! I am here at MaxFund because my family couldn't commit to taking care of me. You see, I have some liver trouble so I need daily medication for life. It is really no big deal at all - all you have to do is sprinkle the medicine on my food and I'll eat it right up. I do need a family that will commit to this little quirk of mine and who will love and support me. Is that you? I sure hope so!

I get along pretty well with other animals, but I do have high energy and like lots of play time so I would need to live with animals that have similar activity levels. I've lived with small children and didn't like that much, but I think I would be okay with older kids. In fact, I bet we'd be great playmates!!

If you are looking for a super fabulous fun cat to join your family then I am your guy. Who knows, maybe I'll even practice my wizard tricks on you too. Just for fun of course. Please hurry over to the shelter and make me yours already!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
