I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Abby's Story...
Abby is a 6 month old (DOB 1-18-14) black/tan spayed female doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail. Abby's owners were moving and she couldnt come so they surrendered her to us. Abby is very playful and working on puppy training and crate training. She loves other dogs (needs dogs her size to play with) and to zoom around the yard/house with them. One of Abby's ears does not stand which if you choose can be corrected by your vet by being taped as shes still young. We are accepting applications, but beware this sweet face needs someone to train her.

Abby is fostered in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a killeen Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in killeen, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in killeen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in killeen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a killeen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in killeen paves the way for another one to be saved.
