My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Are you looking for a fun and friendly dog who will be your loyal pal? I'm your gal! My name is DIAMOND, and I'm a beautiful pit bull mix who's about three years old. You really should see my striking markings in person to appreciate them. I'm a good size, too; on the bigger side of medium. Wait until you see how much fun I have running around the play yard. My joy will be your joy. Needless to say, I'll need a good-sized yard in my new home, and I'll do best with a daily walk, maybe even a nice jog around the neighborhood. I get very happy and somewhat rambunctious when I play, so I'd do best in either an adult home, or one where the kids are older and bigger. When it comes to me being around other dogs, again, bigger is better. The shelter staff isn't sure if I've been house trained, so I might need to work on that when I get to my new home. I'm a smart, observant dog, so I'm sure I can figure it all out in a short time. I already know how to sit on command, and I can learn whatever you want to teach me. I'm very friendly and I have a good-natured temperament, so I hope you'll come visit me soon at the El Cajon Animal Shelter so you can see what a good girl I am, then maybe you'll see that I'm the dog that you've been searching for. Love, Diamond" Kennel #27
