My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

No you’re not seeing double... these adorable little sisters look amazingly alike! Oprah has just a bit of brown to her coat while Daphne is all silver. Both girls were rescued from the wild at three weeks of age. Although it is best for kittens' development to let them stay with their mother when they're that young (and mom is usually in the vicinity hunting for dinner), these little ones seemed destitute. It was feared something had happened to their mother.

A kindly man took them in and bottle fed them for a few weeks, not an easy task – and they thrived. Daphne and Oprah are presently in a Dusty Paws foster home, an active household where they are surrounded by other cats as well as dogs.

They are tabby girls with the expected M on their foreheads and their coats are beautifully spotted and striped – like ocicats. Oprah is the more talkative of the two and seems more adaptive. Daphne is more independent and self -contained. Neither one of them seems fond of photo sessions. But both are typical kittens – eating, playing with toys and each other and vying for your attention. It's hard not to fall in love with these two. They are a ready made cat family ready to grace a new home.

The girls have been tested and are FIV and FeLV negative. They are currently going through their rounds of vaccinations and will be spayed and micro chipped prior to final adoption. For further information, call Kathy at (510) 329-0613.
