Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sydney. She came into the program on March 3rd. Her foster mom took her to the Aussie Party on March 8 and she was good with other dogs, although she showed a bit of an attitude. She will be 5 on May 29.
Syd came into the program because her mom and 2 teenagers did not have time for her. They have busy lives and Syd was home all day with no other dogs and just the cat.. She is good with cats. She has a bit of the "only child syndrome" and we are working on an attitude adjustment. She thinks that she is the boss and it is all about her! No, it is all about the foster mom being the alpha .Therefore, I recommend that she goes to an aussie savoy home with no small children. She is crated trained. She has had a few accidents in the house so we are working on that. She loves attention and good off leash and has a good recall. She loves to run around the yard and she hops when she is playing. She is a cute as a button! She is a little standoffish with men at first, but does warm up. She is NOT allowed on the furniture and should go to a home that will continue that practice.
Sydney is fostered in Dunedin and will be available the 1st week in April. 3/12/08
