Neville's Story...
Name: Neville
Sex: Male
Breed: Mastiff, Bloodhound, Lab mix
Age: 7-8 years
Weight: 76 lbs
Good with: Great with people and dogs, no cats, very young children could accidentally knocked over when he's excited.

This handsome guy is Neville. The shelter quoted Neville as being "an excellent older fella with no aggression towards anything...so sweet and loving." He is currently being fostered here in MA and available for a meet and greet once an application has been submitted. He loves attention, is very sweet, loves belly rubs and knows sit. He likes playing fetch. He pulls a little on a leash and he is a big boy so we are working on leash manners and more commands... It's likely a gentle leader harness would be helpful. If interested in adopting, fill out an application at www.survivortails.org!
Please note: We can only foster or adopt in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Neville, a Boston Bullmastiff/Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff/Bloodhound for sale in Boston, or seeking a Bullmastiff/Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff/Bloodhound breeders who help with Bullmastiff/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
