My name is Candace. I am a little bewildered as to how I am the only remaining member of a litter of kittens that was found abandoned. I'm just as pretty, friendly and loving as they all were. Yet here I am, still waiting for MY forever home. I get along well with my many roommates here at the shelter, but I long for a family of my own. I try to be patient, but it isn't easy. I hear that black cats are often overlooked for a host of reasons. All of which I find ridiculous. Please stand up for the black cats and put those crazy misconceptions to rest once and for all. Adopt me and we'll show the world how awesome black cats are!
