Zoe's Story...
Belly rubs, anyone? Our Zoe has put this at the top of her "must have" list for her new owners! Sweet and wanting to be with her people, this adorable 6 yr. old is a perfect lady in the house and is respectful of furnishings. She can be demur and slow to warm up with some, but is a love bug once she is comfortable. Zoe gets along with dogs of all sizes, but no rough and tumble play for this mild-mannered girl. She rides nicely in the car and enjoys outings, although she is excited on walks and needs to brush up on loose leash walking.

Zoe is a calm, affectionate dobergirl that will smoothly fit into almost any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Columbus Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
